On 31 July 2022,
Tiffany announced the launch of the NFT digital collection on 5 August with a pixelated promotional video posted on its social networks. Tiffany's has formally announced its entry into the NFT space by combining the two names "NFT" and "Tiffany" and naming its first NFT collection "NFTiffs".
Tiffany plans to use its jewelry-making expertise to achieve this new feat by using jewelry to replicate the NFT "Cryptopunks" (Schaar, L., & Kampakis, S)series, thus taking the first step in its plan to enter the NFT industry. The joint innovation of the "NFTiffs" series aims not only to express awareness of the copyright of digital collections in the virtual world but also to highlight the combination of the virtual and the real. NFT's 'Cryptopunks' series gives owners of digital collections access to genuine jewelry created by Tiffany artists. This is not the first time that a virtual collection has been combined with a real product, but Tiffany has made a new proposal to do so, capitalizing on the strengths of its brand and achieving a 1+1>2 effect.
Tiffany is one of the top ten jewelry brands, with a long history and a strong reputation. But when faced with new things, they do not stand still, although the style is mainly American, it can follow the trend to meet the current aesthetics of most people, so the emergence of "NFTiffs" is not surprising because, in March 2022, Tiffany has entered the NFT industry.
Would you be willing to pay to turn your NFT collection into a real treasure?
